Subject: Welcome to the Matrix: the EMG Portal is live

Hi everyone,

Today we're switching on the EMG Portal. It's where you'll sign in to the apps we're building for EMG.

Spreadsheets have run a lot of EMG for years, and they've done the job well. As more of us share the same files, keeping them in step gets harder. The Excel Uplift moves that shared work into apps, one spreadsheet at a time, with the data kept in EMG's own databases.

Two apps are live from today:

- Ticketing, for IT help. Raise a ticket and see where it's up to. You can still email the service desk, and your email becomes a ticket.
- Documentation, for how we do things. Procedures and guides in one place, with every change kept.

Sign in at https://portal.apps.energymatrix.com.au with your work email and EMG password. If you've forgotten your password, choose Forgot password to set a new one.

The launch page at https://launch.apps.energymatrix.com.au has a short video, answers to common questions and the list of apps we're planning. If your team relies on a spreadsheet that should be an app, see the IT team and tell them about it. We'll use the suggestions to decide what comes after the planned apps.
